Wimbledon Calling Festival

South London doesn't always get it's fair share of live music but for one day at least that is all about to change. On Sunday 18th July no less than 50 bands will play 6 intimate venues as part of the Wimbledon Calling festival.

Playing right on their doorsteps locals will find the likes of The View, British Sea Power, Twisted Wheel, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, The Automatic, Twin Atlantic, DOGS, and many more. A marvellous opportunity to catch a whole host of great bands south of the river.

Tickets for the event which runs from 2pm until 2am are just £20 in advance (see www.seetickets.com or www.ticketweb.co.uk ) or £25 on the day from The Watershed, found at 267 The Broadway Wimbledon.

The Watershed will also be holding pre-festival warm up shows with ASH, The Bookhouse Boys and The Twang all playing live on July 15th/16th/17th respectively.
