PRESS RELEASE:
With the Great British Guitar Show taking place this weekend, organiser UK Musicshows Ltd has announced a remarkable increase in advance ticket sales compared to last year’s Birmingham Guitar Show held at the same venue, Bingley Hall in Birmingham.
As of 23 February, sales are up 42%, reflecting a growing interest in the UK’s only ‘all-encompassing’ guitar show. Pre-show ticket sales end at 5pm on 23 February, but there will still be availability on both show days – Saturday 25 and Sunday 26.
Show manager Jason Hunt said, “The increase in pre-sales is obviously extremely encouraging and we’re delighted with the numbers. The decision to re-brand the Birmingham show as the Great British Guitar Show demonstrated our commitment to growing a national event over the next few years and we’re moving strongly in that direction.
“At this point I’d like to thank all those exhibitors who have been pro-active in supporting the show with on-line and social media marketing activity over the last few weeks. It really makes a difference to the groundswell of interest from visitors and will only benefit all of those involved. And of course I look forward to seeing everyone over the weekend and wish them a very successful first GBGS.”
