The Smashing Pumpkins are looking for a new bassist and keyboardist and have opened the position up to everyone who wants to have a go.

Billy Corgan has announced the search after previous bassist Ginger Pooley decided to leave the band in order to concentrate on raising her new baby.

Having found their current drummer, Mike Byrne, through a similar process, Corgan has decided to once again scour the general public in the search for new band members - the only requirement for consideration is that you have a video clip demonstrating your talents. Corgan has also stated that he is looking for a keyboardist who plays in the prog-rock style of John Lord or Rick Wakeman. Electric Prunes' bassist Mark Tulin is standing in until a suitable candidate is found.

Applications should be made via email and include musical background (both live and recorded), photos and performance to pumpkinsbass@gmail.com or pumpkinskeys@gmail.com

Closing date 31st March. Good Luck!
