Martin Taylor Guitar Academy - A new Online Hub For Students of Jazz Guitar

Martin Taylor's new online Guitar Academy is a brand new concept in guitar tuition.

The concept is simple:

For a monthly fee, students can receive interactive tuition from Taylor by uploading videos of themselves onto the site using the pioneering ArtistWorks online plartform. Taylor can then 'reply' to his students either with a video or text to help them learn the techniques and correct their mistakes.

Both videos are then posted onto the site together and are available to the site's entire 'community.' Students can also watch 150 high definition video tutorials ranging from 'simple tunes to highly advanced playing.'

Students will also have access to multiple versions of the lessons, including an overhead camera perspective to ensure ease of viewing and slowed down and pitch-corrected videos to help in the learning process.

Other features of the site include:

Transcription - ensuring lesson are completely water-tight.

Social Media - The site incorporates a Forum, 'Student Profile' pages, Messaging and Chat.

Downloadable PDF Notation Files

Lessons include: 'Introduction', 'Underlying Concepts', 'Developing Technique And Musicianship', 'Learn By Playing Tunes' (with over 20 well-know tunes) and additional 'Auxillary Lessons.'

The complete curriculum is now available on the site.
