It's been some time since Marshall first revealed images of their new branded fridge, but, after a long wait, it is finally available for guitarists in the UK.
The fridge is based on a real Marshall Amp, and has a capacity of 4.4 cubic feet - ideal to store cold beers and soft drinks, it will certainly add a little rock 'n' roll to your kitchen or studio. It costs £399.99
Here's the info:
The fridge’s functionality is as impressive as its design. Complete with front legs, one of which is adjustable, and a glass shelf branded with the Marshall logo, the compact fridge even has its own freezer compartment with temperature control, perfect for ice cubes to keep those vodkas ice-cold.
Completely CFC free, with a reversible design, the fridge has already caught the eye of one of the greatest rock legends of all time - Slash from Guns N Roses, who has his very own version to take on tour.
The fine detail on the fridge is synonymous with Marshall’s high quality workmanship. Featuring the infamous woven black fret cloth, the fridge has a genuine Marshall logo and control knobs that go up to the legendary 11 on the amp scale, topped off with the signature of the man who started it all, the late Jim Marshall.
“We’ve been thrilled and surprised by the phenomenal amount of interest this fridge has generated,” says Jon Ellery, Marshall’s Managing Director.
“After we were approached about the concept, we conducted some extensive market research and decided the fridge would be a great item to produce. We premiered a prototype at the Frankfurt Music show last year and the reaction was overwhelming!”
The Marshall Fridge retails at £399.99 and will be available to buy from April onwards at official Marshall dealers or via Marshall’s online store at http://shop.marshallamps.com/
