Jason Bonham Announces Plans For Led Zep Tour

Jason Bonham is organising a mammoth 30-date Led Zeppelin tour without one single member of the original band.

Bonham Jnr. has described the shows as '30 shows in memory of my father, as it's 30 years since he left the world' and is planning to include home movies, videos, old photos and a tribute band as a support act.

Bonham played drums for the band for two concerts, including the celebrated 2007 reunion show at London's O2 Arena where he played with original members Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. Rumours of a full reunion were quickly quashed, however,  after an announcement that the band would never reform.

While Bonham plays drums in rock supergroup, Black Country, with Joe Bonamassa, it is unclear who will be involved in the band for the planned shows.

Robert Plant continues to perform and write with Alison Krauss, John Paul Jones is currently playing with Dave Grohl and Josh Homme in Them Crooked Vultures and Jimmy Page continues to play his solo material.
