Gibson release their new Les Paul Junior DC bass

Gibson have cleverly merged elements of the Les Paul Junior together with the 1960 EB-0 bass to create their new short scale model - the particularly fetching LP Junior DC Bass.

The easy access double-cutaway body is solid mahogany with a glued-in mahogany neck, and the rosewood fingerboard holds 22 medium-jumbo frets for swift-fingered riffing.

A pair of humbuckers pack the punch; a TB humbucker with a ceramic magnet at the neck and a TB mini humbucker with an alnico magnet at the bridge.

Lastly a sturdy deep-set three point bass bridge keeps it on a level and the preppy Pelham Blue finish completes the look.

Great little package. $1, 899
