Fender have announced plans to release a new signature for the grunge anti-hero

News has arrived that Fender are releasing a brand new Kurt Cobain Signature Jaguar guitar to commemorate 20 years since the release of their seminal album 'Nevermind'.

The guitar is a replica of the 1965 model that Cobain played while touring 'Nevermind' and is armed with a duo of pickups - a DiMarzio PAF and a Super Distortion humbucker for those foot-down moments that Nirvana did so well.

Other specs include a second volume control, chrome Gotoh bridge, three-way toggle switch, Strat-sized headstock with non-period correct 'spaghetti' logo and nitrocellulose relic'ed finish.

The guitar will be available in both left and right handed models priced at £1,307.
