Epiphone have unveiled their new Les Paul Ultra III.
The new model has two humbucking pickup systems. The first is powered by Epiphone's new Probuckers, styled on Gibson's famous Burstbuckers based on the infamous PAF pickup.
The second utilises Germany's Nanomag system fitted at the base of the fretboard using three Samarium Cobalt magnets, an air coil and active electronics.
Together the two systems are capable of creating tones from a powerful humbucking rock tone to acoustic-like sounds.
The body is chambered mahogany with Belly-Scarf and a Flame Maple veneer, the neck is also mahogany with a D profile and the rosewood fingerboard features 22 medium-jumbo frets.
