The Scottish Music Show is taking place at the New Lanark World Heritage Site on 27th-28th April
The Scottish Music Show is a fully interactive trade and public show. There will be manufacturers, distributors, retailers, industry experts on site, two open stages for the public to get a chance to be part of the show, workshops, master classes and of course and live shows from some of the countries' best acts.
Chris Woods and Owen Van Larkin will be hosting a masterclass as well as putting in a jaw-dropping performance too. Other performers include Horse and Peatbog Faeries. There's a Battle of the Bands competition and Jim Duncan will be showcasing his new album 'Roadshow' too. The album has guest appearances from Grammy winners David Grier on guitar, Rob Ickes on Dobro and mandolin legend John Reischman. Aiden O'Rourke from Lau also features.

They are also running mentoring programmes through the show to give youngsters the equipment and know how to put on there own shows throughout the year and a nationwide high school battle of the bands with some great prizes.
