One for the States only! Fender's new limited edition Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe features generous styling and a new-improved tone is a beaut!

The humble Telecaster is, in its purest form, a thing of undeniable beauty, but Fender have decided to treat our American cousins to a fresh serving of luxury, which if coupled with some enviable tone-enhancing features make the stunning new Telecaster Thinline Super Deluxe an irresistable prospect even if it means crossing the Atlantic to get our mitts on one.

When it comes to aethetics, elegance is the order of the day here and this sumptuous new model is the stuff dreams are made of with a choice of cool black or Olympic white finishes, with matching headstock, slick double binding, and single f-hole to truly seduce the eye.

Ambrosial tone is taken care of via a super-resonant semi-hollow basswood body coupled with two Fideli’Tron humbuckers and playing comfort is assured with a C-shaped neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with 21 wide vintage-style frets.

The finer details are carefully considered too and three-way blade switching, classic ‘top hat’ switch tip, bone nut, pearloid block inlays and chrome or gold single ply pickguard all add to the overall aura of a guitar that is as fanciful as it is functional.

With luck a few of these blinged up Super Deluxe Teles may make it over to the UK, but for now we’ll have to settle for regular visitations to www.fender.com to get our fix.
