Brand new music and art school in West London
Budding musicians, DJs and producers wanting to take it to the next level should check out Artpeggios Music And Art School Academy that has just opened in West London.
The academy is holding several open days where visitors can take a look around the excellent facilities including DJing and computer music room equipped with 15 computers, top notch software and DJ tables, recording studio, 10 fully equipped tuition/rehearsal rooms,one state of the art practise band room, a sound-proofed room (for lectures, small performance, theatre and singing groups), the art studio and the music composition suite!
Open days take place on Saturday 8th December, Sunday 9th December (opening times are 10am-6pm). There will also be a free family event on January 26th and 27th (also 10am-6pm). Interested parties can meet the staff, check out the academy and instruments and more.
They are also holding Christmas Holiday Camps on Monday 17th December to 21st December, and Spring Half-Term and Easter Holiday Camps taking place from February 18th to Sunday 24th and Saturday March 30th to Saturday April 13th, all for 3 hours a day.
The activities on offer include:
Learn how to play and interact with other musicians in a band context. Work towards the goal of recording a track at the end of the week in our professional studio. Perform a couple of songs in front of a small audience.
Discover the best software for DJing. Practice and develop your skills with some of your peers. Take home your best work.
Artpeggios' holiday camps offer a fun and productive way for children to spend their holiday time. Based upon 5 half-day sessions per week, our holiday camp programmes are focused on band and ensemble playing. You'll enjoy learning how to play and interact with fellow musicians, make new friends and you may even go back home with your own professionally recorded music!
